Hand Arm Vibration Claims

Hand-arm vibration claims are possible if you suffer the condition because of your working environment.
The condition, often shortened to HAVS (hand-arm vibration syndrome) is an industrial illness brought on by repeated or long-term use of vibrating tools.
It usually affects people working with equipment such as pneumatic drills, power tools or chainsaws so those working in mining, construction or manufacturing are commonly at risk.
Symptoms include tingling hands and fingers, numbness and aching. The condition can develop even after use of the tools has stopped and can cause severe problems with movement and use of the hands. Loss of taste and smell claims.
